Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a BMT Nurse Coordinator to influence patient care through collaborative relationships with leadership and participation in nursing initiatives.

The role requires a nursing graduate, Tennessee licensure, BSN with 3+ years oncology experience, and completion of Oncology Nurse Certification within 1 year. Strong collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• BSN required; Masters is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years current oncology work experience.
• Transplant and Cellular Therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient management of AML, ALL, Burkitt’s Lymphoma.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must obtain and maintain Oncology Nurse Certification within 1 year of hire.
• Requires collaboration and working well with others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BMT patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support inpatient and outpatient management of AML/ALL.
• Participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives to advance care.
