Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN for Bone Marrow Transplant (HP11 BMT) for night shifts. This autonomous role involves floating to inpatient units to administer chemotherapy and serving as a resource for patients and families, while educating staff to improve outcomes.

You will participate in shared clinical decision-making, provide education to nursing colleagues, and support outstanding patient care within a leading cancer program.

Qualifications

• At least one year of acute care RN experience in oncology.
• At least two years of experience in administering chemotherapy.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS certification

Responsibilities

• Float to inpatient units to administer chemotherapy and serve as a resource for patients and families.
• Provide education to nursing colleagues focusing on patient outcomes in this field.
• Participate in shared clinical decision-making and supportive collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to a culture of respect, belonging and inclusion and support overall patient care.
