Job summary

University of Louisville Physicians seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or Acute Care APRN) for its Blood Cancers, Cellular Therapeutics and Transplant (BCT) Program at UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center. The role emphasizes inpatient, high-acuity care with ongoing education in up-to-date cancer treatments, in an academic setting.

Ideal candidates have oncology or BMT experience; physician assistant or APRN background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program with current national certification.
• Current licensure in Kentucky and/or Indiana.
• Current ACLS/BLS certifications.
• Subspecialty or oncology/BMT experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments for complex blood cancer patients.
• Manage admissions, write prescriptions, interpret tests, and support survivorship clinics.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary conferences and maintain clear communication with physicians.
