Job summary

Salute is seeking a highly skilled BMS/Controls Subject Matter Expert to lead the technical authority for building management and control systems across a global data center fleet. The role reports to the Data Center Manager and focuses on reliable monitoring, automation, and system integration with mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The position emphasizes system optimization, incident response, and training to ensure alignment with Salute, client teams, and site operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical manuals, CAD drawings, and blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems in critical environments.
• Technical writing to create/modify MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for incident response and optimization.
• Experience in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Own global BMS changes and enhancements for data center operations.
• Maintain integrity of configurations and upgrades with change control.
• Troubleshoot and document controls/monitoring to maximize energy efficiency.
• Analyze equipment data and adjust building systems to improve performance.
• Oversee vendors, configurations, and upgrades supporting site operations.
• Provide QA/QC oversight for hardware installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate across disciplines to adjust BMS settings and space management.
• Deliver technical controls training to Facility Operations staff.
