Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, develop control databases, and create user interfaces based on project specs and sales proposals. The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and commissioning of software and control programs.

The position drives project delivery on a global scale for large enterprise clients using industry leading technologies. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications and design documents.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
