Job summary

Novant Health Urgent Care (Formerly Doctors Care) in Bluffton, SC is seeking an X-ray Technologist to operate radiographic equipment, produce diagnostic images, and support clinicians in patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a radiography degree, state licensure, CPR, and the ability to triage, take vitals, and document patient history for efficient visits.

Qualifications

• 1-year degree in Radiographic technology.
• Current SC license for radiographic technology.
• Limited Practice Radiographer-General Certification accepted.
• CPR certification from Healthcare Provider.
• Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and produce x-ray images to aid providers in diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist with triaging and rooming patients, including taking vitals, reviewing history, and summarizing visit reason.

What Are We Looking For?

NHUC is currently looking for a is currently looking for a x-ray technologist to join our team who will operate x-ray equipment and produce x-ray images to aid providers with diagnosing and/or treating diseases or injuries. The technologist will also help with triaging and rooming patients including taking vitals, reviewing patient history, and summarizing the reason for visit.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• 1-year degree in Radiographic technology
• Current SC license for radiographic technology
• Limited Practice Radiographer-General Certification accepted
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
• Willing to work at other centers as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
