You will operate hand tools and shop equipment, install fasteners and inserts, and log labor data in IDC. A strong safety mindset and ability to read drawings are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and routing instructions.
• Experience with hand tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a high-noise, manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and routing instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Apply torque methods and sequencing using torque wrenches for correct preload.
• Measure with precision instruments to verify accuracy of parts.
• Operate hand tools and shop equipment (grinders, drills) as directed.
• Install thread inserts and fasteners; log labor data in IDC.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow SOPs/WIs.
