Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Worker for a permanent, fully onsite role in Shawano, Wisconsin. You will read blueprints and build assemblies for machinery, install motors, axles and tires, and use hand, power, and air tools to complete tasks on schedule.

The position requires at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience, experience with blueprints or instruction sheets, and the ability to work in a team in a manufacturing setting. Weekday shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical experience in assembly or related field.
• Experience reading blueprints, manuals, or work instructions.
• Previous experience using power or air tools.

Responsibilities

• Use blueprints and building plans to complete assemblies accurately
• Assist with running electrical wiring for lights and motors
• Install belts, bearings, bushings, and other small components
• Mount tool boxes, tires, and install suspension systems
• Use hand, power, and air tools for assembly and fastening tasks
• Collaborate with team members on larger assemblies and projects
