Job summary

Kj’s Market is seeking a friendly, reliable part-time team member to assist in the Bluebird Kitchen/Deli/Bakery and front-end operations. You will greet guests, prepare products for sale, maintain freshness and cleanliness, and help with receiving and stocking.

The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates are 18+, able to lift 25 lb regularly and 50 lb occasionally, with good communication skills and a positive attitude to create a welcoming in-store

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat and clean at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Front end duties to ensure guest arrival standards are met.
• Announce specials and sale information over the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
