Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a TMS Configuration Specialist to configure Blue Yonder TMS modules for planning, execution, and freight settlement. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into TMS configurations and supporting integrations with ERP and other systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Blue Yonder TMS and deep knowledge of multi-modal transportation, including road, air, and ocean.

Roles & Responsibilities

TMS Configuration & Setup

• Configure Blue Yonder TMS modules for planning, execution, freight settlement, and visibility
• Set up master data: locations, networks, lanes, calendars, carriers, service levels, modes, equipment
• Configure rates, contracts, accessorials, and fuel surcharge structures
• Define transportation policies, constraints, and optimization parameters

Business Process Enablement

• Translate business requirements into TMS configurations for inbound, outbound, and intercompany movements
• Support shipment lifecycle: tendering, status updates, appointment scheduling, and exception handling
• Configure workflows, alerts, event management, and user roles/permissions

Integration & Data Management

• Support integrations with ERP, WMS, OMS, and carrier systems
• Validate configurations for APIs and EDI transactions (shipment creation, tendering, status, invoicing)
• Assist in data mapping, testing, and issue resolution
