Blue Owl Technology Solutions seeks an Investment Professional to join a growth-tech focused team in California. The role involves analyzing opportunities, conducting due diligence, and preparing memorandums for investment committee review.

You will contribute to deal origination, interact with management, and assist in closing and ongoing portfolio monitoring. We invest across growth-stage technology companies and have a track record with AI, GPU/datacenter financings and leading tech names.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in investing, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling, research and analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work in Menlo Park office ~4 days/week and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential investment opportunities and develop investment theses.
• Conduct due diligence including data room review, financial modeling, and management discussions.
• Prepare analyses and memorandums for investment committee approvals.
• Participate in deal team discussions and present to investment committee.
• Aid in deal origination via market research and outreach.
• Liaise with management and third-party providers during underwriting.
• Support transaction closing and funding operations.
• Monitor portfolio companies and report updates to the committee.

The Role

Blue Owl is seeking an Investment Professional to join the Blue Owl Technology Solutions team. Blue Owl Technology Solutions invests in growth stage private technology companies through hybrid, debt and equity capital, as well as AI GPU and datacenter financings. Responsibilities

• Analyze potential investment opportunities and engage in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses
• Complete due diligence including review of investment target information and data room, industry research, financial modeling, financial statement review, interaction with management, use of consultants, and review of third party reports, etc.
• Prepare analysis and memorandums used for internal discussions and formal investment committee approval processes
• Participate in deal team discussions and presentations with investment committee
• Aid in deal origination through market research, targeted thesis building, and direct outreach to companies and earlier stage investors
• Liaise directly with management teams and third party due diligence providers during deal origination and underwriting process
• Participate in the transaction closing, which includes legal documentation and funding operations
• Perform ongoing due diligence and monitoring of portfolio companies; communicate updates to the investment committee (orally and written)

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 1-3 years of experience in investing, investment banking, and/or consulting. Prior experience with growth-stage hybrid capital, debt or equity investing is a plus but not required
• Strong financial modeling, research and analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
• Leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency
• Genuine passion for the intersection of technology, business models & strategy, and investing
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and communication capabilities; ability to connect, establish credibility, and build lasting relationships with company founders, CEOs, and outside investors
• Ability to multi-task and balance several workstreams concurrently
• Desire and willingness to work in Menlo Park office approximately four days a week and travel as needed
• Intellectual honesty and integrity in all facets of life

The base annual salary range for thisCalifornia-based position will be $90,000 to $175,000.Actualsalary offered will be based on the candidate’s skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
