Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a BLS Instructor to teach American Heart Association (AHA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) courses. The role includes instruction, remediation, and evaluation to ensure student mastery of BLS skills.

The instructor will travel to off-site course locations within the communities served by HMH, maintain equipment, and complete required paperwork. Attendance at instructor meetings and ongoing updates is expected as part of a culture of collaboration and high standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Clinical experience required.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Teach American Heart Association (AHA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) courses.
• Instruct, remediate, and evaluate students.
• Travel to off-site course locations within the community served by HMH.
• Maintain confidentiality of student progress and outcomes.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to leadership promptly.
• Attend instructor meetings and participate in updates.
