The ideal candidate has a clinical healthcare background, strong communication skills, and is willing to travel within the McAllen area. Instructor certification support is available for qualified candidates, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Clinical background in nursing, emergency medicine, respiratory therapy, EMS, neonatal care, or related healthcare field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to travel throughout the McAllen area to train at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses in adherence with current AHA guidelines.
• Conduct hands-on scenario-based training for real-world emergencies.
• Evaluate student performance and provide coaching to ensure competency.
• Prepare and maintain training equipment, including manikins and AED trainers.
• Maintain attendance, certifications, and course documentation.
• Stay current on AHA updates and instructional best practices.
• Travel to healthcare facilities, schools, and businesses for on-site training.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination to ensure excellent customer service.
• Represent Health Street professionally during training events.
