Job summary

Purity Dairy, a DFA farmer-owned brand, seeks a blow mold machine operator to set up, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, process raw materials, and ensure GMP compliance while meeting daily production deadlines.

The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm with possible Saturdays in Nashville. Benefits include 401(k) with company contribution, paid vacation/holidays, competitive pay, and opportunities for career growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive manual tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and wet environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, break down and set up blow mold equipment and machinery.
• Process finished or raw materials following GMP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues.

2nd Shift /Monday - Friday / 2:00pm-10:30pm / Possible Saturdays

Purity Dairy has an immediate job opening for a well-versed Blow mold machine operator to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

PAY RATE:$24.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred


• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractionsand decimal


• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks


• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds


• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment


• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment


• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals


• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays.
