Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Port Allen, LA is seeking a Blow mold Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain production equipment in our facility. The role requires performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and supporting safety and quality standards on a rotating shift schedule (6:30-6:30).

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably an associate degree in industrial maintenance, and several years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test adjustments.
• Provide emergency repairs of production equipment during operation and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform simple machinist skills.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
• Limited travel may be required.
