Job summary

Versiti in Indianapolis is seeking a Transportation Courier to perform hospital deliveries, donor center pickups, and related routes with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. The role is 2nd shift (Sun-Thu, 1pm-9pm) and full-time, with training schedules possibly different.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
4-6 years experience as a route driver preferred.
Must pass MVR check.
Ability to follow directions and read a map.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively.
Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability and motivation to cross train in Hospital Services.

Responsibilities

Executes Versiti policies and procedures for internal blood product deliveries and returns.
Ensures safety, purity, potency and efficacy of products by following procedures.
Communicates fleet maintenance needs and performs pre/post-trip inspections, fuels vehicles, and maintains vehicles.
Organizes STAT deliveries and special requests to maintain efficiency.
Practices defensive driving and completes safety training.
Performs other duties as assigned within scope of job classification.
Complies with regulatory and SOP requirements.
