Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Distribution Technician to support warehouse operations in Wisconsin. You will ensure products are suitable for release, manage inventory, and perform data entry for manufacturing, labeling, storage, and shipping.

You will analyze information from multiple departments to meet time and quality standards, quarantine nonconforming items, and may handle hospital deliveries as needed. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision‑making skills.
  • Position may require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods. Lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds. May work in walk‑in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. May be required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc.

Schedule

Standard schedule: Sunday–Thursday OR Tuesday–Saturday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.

Training

First 4‑6 weeks of employment; Monday–Friday, regular daytime hours (ex: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm).

Pay Information
  • Training: $18.30 per hour.
  • Weekday hours: $18.30 – $20.05 per hour.
  • Weekend hours: $19.55 – $21.05 per hour.
