The American Red Cross in Columbus, OH is hiring a Third Shift Team Member to receive, process, pack, and ship blood products for hospital orders. This role requires attention to detail, good computer skills, and decision-making abilities. You will work from 12 am to 8 am, Tuesday through Saturday, ensuring compliance and quality standards.

You will be responsible for receiving, processing, packing, and shipping blood products/samples for hospital orders. You will triage the order based on date and time needed, select and carefully pack life‑saving blood products with the correct temperature‑regulating product to ensure safe transport. You will communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors, and maintain product records to preserve traceability. As a Red Cross Team member, you will show up for every shift, give 100% while you are there, interact in a positive, proactive, and customer‑focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all times.
Third shift position working Tuesday through Saturday, 12 am–8 am.
The pay rate for this position is $18.73 per hour, with a shift differential of $3.00 per hour for 12 am–7 am.
Required to stand, stretch, stoop, and bend for extended periods. Lift, pull, push, and move objects of up to 50 pounds. May work in walk‑in refrigerators/freezers. May be required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, and face shields.
