Job summary

Carter BloodCare is seeking a Blood Component Courier to support dispatch by retrieving and delivering blood components during the assigned shift. Under supervision, you will ensure timely pickup of unprocessed collections while following all regulations for storage and transportation of blood products.

You will need an acceptable driving record, good English communication, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months driving in the DFW metroplex area preferred.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Some experience with direct Customer Service interaction preferred.
• Computers, printers, cellular phones, and record keeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and deliver blood components during the assigned shift.
• Ensure timely pickup of unprocessed blood collections.
• Adhere to storage and transportation regulations governing blood products.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with Dispatch.
