TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Zephyrhills, FL for a 5+ month contract with potential extension. The role requires drawing quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining accurate documentation.

On-site position with shifts including weekend hours, demanding strict confidentiality and patient safety. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic medical training, and phlebotomy experience; certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain an atmosphere of trust.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Perform duties under supervision with focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
