Job summary

The American Red Cross in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a phlebotomy support role to aid blood collection at donation sites and help donors have a positive, safe experience. Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with opportunities to advance within the nation’s leading humanitarian organization.

You will work with a team, follow safety procedures, and possibly operate Red Cross vehicles to support mobile drives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure blood collection meets goals and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites.
