Job summary

Cumberland, the cryptoasset arm of DRW, is seeking a Blockchain Strategy Analyst to drive growth and strategic initiatives from our Chicago office. You will translate business needs into product requirements, coordinate across engineering, product, and business teams, and design processes to support new initiatives.

You will gather market data, evaluate partnerships, and help shape economic models, while staying aligned with DRW’s objectives and the evolving blockchain landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience translating business needs into product requirements.
• Familiarity with data systems and software development practices.
• Proven leadership abilities and self-starter mindset.
• Excellent communication across audiences and levels.
• Strategic thinking and market trend synthesis.
• Strong business acumen and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze information from multiple sources to generate actionable recommendations across operations, technology, and growth.
• Assist BD and management to evaluate strategic partnerships and economic models.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to assess feasibility and design processes for new initiatives.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to design and deliver technology solutions with business value.
• Conduct market research and capture user feedback to identify needs and trends.
• Communicate requirements and domain knowledge to technical teams clearly.
