Job summary

HIFI is hiring a software engineer to build the stablecoin payments infrastructure. You will work on wallet architecture, on‑chain transaction handling, and ledger systems that reconcile on-chain activity with fiat rails.

This is a hands-on role shaping the scale and reliability of a cutting-edge stablecoin platform. You will collaborate with product and compliance to ensure secure, auditable, and regulator-ready infrastructure as the company expands in the US and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with 1–2 years building blockchain systems in production.
• Deep familiarity with EVM chains, gas, and transaction lifecycles.
• Experience with wallet architectures, custody, signing services, or MPC/HSM setups.
• Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, concurrency in distributed systems.
• Hands-on in financial systems with reconciliation and audit trails.
• Clear communication in code reviews and written tech discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement wallet infra, including key management and signing orchestration.
• Handle on-chain transactions across EVM chains with gas and retries.
• Develop stablecoin minting, burning, and fiat on/off ramps integration.
• Integrate with centralized/decentralized exchanges for swaps and cross-chain bridges.
• Build a double-entry ledger with reconciliation between on-chain and banking data.
• Create event listeners and webhooks for real-time visibility into on-chain activity.
• Ensure idempotent pipelines with failure recovery and screening hooks.
