Job summary

Inca Digital, Inc. seeks a front-line digital detective to bridge blockchain forensics with traditional intelligence tradecraft. You will hunt illicit finance, attribute digital identities, and transform unstructured data into defensible intelligence to protect clients and the digital-asset ecosystem.

You will build repeatable data workflows and produce clear reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders while navigating noise in data to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Blockchain expertise: knowledge of blockchain data structures, wallet models, transfers, DEX, bridges, EVM/non‑EVM contracts.
• OSINT investigations: data collection, validation, attribution across platforms.
• Data analysis: working with large structured/unstructured datasets.
• Web scraping: experience extracting data from online sources.
• Technical proficiency: scripting/data tools (Python/SQL).
• Research & source evaluation: assess credibility and verify information.
• Reporting & communication: clearly present findings to diverse audiences.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Requires completing a challenge submission.
• Background check required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blockchain investigations across networks, tracing transactions and identifying patterns.
• Perform OSINT investigations to support attribution, risk assessment, and case development.
• Collect and normalize data from explorers, APIs, datasets, OSINT sources and internal systems.
• Analyze incomplete/multi-source data to identify risk indicators and leads.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence on entities, wallets, and counterparties.
• Build scripts, queries, dashboards, and data workflows for investigations.
• Produce concise, defensible intelligence reports with methodologies and risk assessments.
