Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and large datasets.

About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in data analytics for the decentralized economy, is seeking a talented Blockchain Data Scientist to join their team in East London, Eastern Cape. This role will involve analyzing vast amounts of on-chain and off-chain data to uncover insights, trends, and patterns related to cryptocurrency markets, dApp usage, and network activity. You will leverage advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to drive business decisions and product development. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data science with specialized knowledge or a keen interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency markets. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining collaboration at our East London office with remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various blockchain sources (e.g., transaction data, smart contract interactions, network metrics).

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
