Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. in Edgewater is hiring a Block Truck Driver to safely operate a block truck to diverse job sites and maintain product integrity.

You will perform inspections, document results, and coordinate with dispatch while keeping a clean vehicle and complying with DOT/OSHA safety rules. The role requires a valid CDL with a current DOT medical card; two years of commercial driving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
• legally authorized to work in the U.S., CDL with DOT medical card required.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a block truck safely and efficiently to various job sites.
• Complete all required inspections and documentation.
• Deliver concrete accurately while maintaining product integrity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain a clean truck and work environment.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, entering/exiting cab, and working outdoors.
• Support operations as needed, including occasional travel to nearby facilities.
