Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Blender/Operator in Wheeling, IL to blend raw materials for the dry and bottled process areas. Starting pay rate is 28.18/hr with work hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, emphasizing safe, efficient production and meeting specifications in line with food safety guidelines.

You will perform quality checks, complete changeovers, maintain required paperwork, and uphold GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven blending, mixing, or batching experience.
• Completion of core competency training.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to perform basic math for batch sizes.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety, GMP, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform raw material and product quality checks to meet specifications.
• Produce and changeover products for packaging lines to meet schedules.
• Complete all required process paperwork and data entry accurately.
• Demonstrate adherence to GMP in product manufacture.
• Perform maintenance tasks as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and quality issues.
• Train other blender operators and provide feedback.
• Carry out assigned duties as defined by management.
• Perform daily sanitation tasks as part of MSS.
• Conduct routine daily lab procedures and testing.
