Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a Blending Operator to support manufacturing operations in Alabama. The role involves checking ingredients against batch records, blending powders, and using a forklift to move materials as needed.

You will operate the V-shell Blender and Flexsift, apply MES to stage/charge/yield products, and keep accurate batch records while ensuring cleanliness and compliance with FDA procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required, 1 year related experience preferred.
• Experience as a production machine operator or utility worker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull raw materials from warehouse for stage product accountability.
• Blend ingredients following batch records and discharge into super sacks up to 1,000 kilos.
• Operate blending equipment such as V-shell Blender and Flexsift.
• Apply Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to Stage, Charge and Yield products.
• Maintain records on cleaning, checking and product batches per FDA and Pharmavite procedures.

Charges blender with ingredients following explicit directions on batch record procedure.Key ResponsibilitiesPull raw materials from warehouse for stage product accountability.Blends ingredients following explicit directions on batch record procedures and discharges into super sacks (up to 1,000 kilos); weighs to ensure correct weight/volume, and uses fork lift to transport sacks to compressing area.Apply Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to Stage, Charge and Yield products.Makes appropriate entries onto batch records, labels and log books ensuring accuracy and completeness.Ensures cleanliness of blending equipment and blending room to required standards by using small hand tools to disassemble equipment and cleaning as necessary; and thoroughly cleaning the walls, floors and all other fixtures in the blending room using standard cleaning tools and cleansing agents.Blends/dry mixes ingredients by operating a V-shell Blender and a Flexsift (powder screening system) for dry powder material; prepares solutions and trays product for drying according to written procedures and standard operating procedures.Uses oscillator/comminutor to granulate and comminute product to appropriate particle size.Operates machine to test particle size; tests moisture level in product to ensure its integrity and compliance with set standards.Maintains a variety of written records on cleaning, checking, and product batches as required by the FDA and Pharmavite proceduresQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience RequiredNo prior experience Required+ 1 year related experience Prior experience as a production machine operator or utility worker or similar work is preferred.
