Job summary

Solina in Eastvale, CA is seeking Blenders / Packaging Operators to join our food production team. You will operate high-speed packaging lines and assist with changeovers while following safety procedures in a mixing production facility.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with indoor environments, can lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and use a safety knife. Prior experience in food production is a plus; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work indoors in a mixing production facility with exposure to smells and dust from spices.
• Experience packaging on high-speed lines and performing line changeovers while keeping PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift 10–50 lbs during production.
• Occasionally climb stairs during shifts.
• Bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, reach, kneel, and twist frequently.
• Walk and stand for the duration of the shift on production floors.
• Safely use a company-provided utility knife.
• Maintain color differentiation awareness and operate machinery as required.

Blenders / Packaging Operators

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 10 lbs., and up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to climb stairs occasionally during the shift

• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, reach, kneel, twistfrequentlyduring the shift

• Ability to walkfrequentlywithin department, and ability to stand during the entire production shift

• Ability to use a utility knifesafely thatwill be provided by the company

• Must have visual acuity to perceive difference in color, and tooperatemachinery

Candidate Profile

• Ability to work indoors in a mixing production facility and to be exposed to the smell and dust of different raw spices as these are being blended into commercial formulas.

• Packaging high speed production line/equipment. Lift forrole of film, pallet jack, laptop and label printer, tools to retool production line duringchange-overs, personal protective equipment asindicatedfor each area and product.
