Ducommun, Inc. in Parsons, Kansas, is seeking a Blend Deburr on the B & C shift to read blueprints, prepare surfaces, blend to scribe lines, and ensure quality.

You will polish metal surfaces, inspect your work, and follow safety and hazardous waste handling guidelines while contributing to continuous improvement. This role offers an entry-to-expert path with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred.
• Follow internal procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Read, interpret, and follow planning, work orders, blueprints or mylars and other engineering data.
• Examines surface of metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches, burrs or breaks in metal.
• Prepares surface of part and edges to specified finish.
• Polishes metal surface.
• Inspects own work.
• Scribe parts and then blend to the scribe lines.
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Blend and deburrs, grinds, files, or sands surfaces of metal parts.

Required Experience and Education

• High School Diploma; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
