BlasterWesterman, Inc. is seeking a Blaster to prepare products for paint by surface protection and profiling per job instructions. The role moves items to the paint booth, removes tape and paper after drying, and maintains a safe, clean workspace in Casper, WY.

A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker with a strong work ethic to meet painting quality levels. Responsibilities include consistent attendance and operating in a team setting.

• Intermediate math skills are required.
• Basic safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply proper blast profile to product assuring all oil and dirt is removed.
• Mask areas with tape and masking paper.
• Remove tape and masking paper after the paint is dry.
• Caulks cracks when necessary, using pneumatic and hand-pump caulking guns.
• Move product into the paint booth and coordinate job flow with correct kits.
• Sands or prepares surface for painting.
• Perform quality assurance measures and paperwork as required.
• Maintain clean work area and proper blast protection inventory.
• Other duties as required and assigned.

BlasterWesterman, Inc., an employee-owned company, is a multiple site manufacturer of production and storage equipment within the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.SUMMARY The Blaster role prepares the product for paint by surface protection, and profiling per job instructions. The position is responsible for moving the product to the paint booth. The Blaster will also remove all tape and paper after the product is completely dry and maintains a clean and safe area. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all painting quality levels are met.RESPONSIBILITIES Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group.
