Job summary

Quick Supply Co. is seeking a hard-working individual for outdoor blasting-support duties at our Alpena location and customer sites. You will perform physically demanding tasks, lift 50+ pounds, and cooperate with crew members to meet customer objectives in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating outdoors in various weather, and flexibility to work overtime when needed. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis.
• Must be able to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic.

• Load and unload vehicles ensuring products are handled, transported and stored according to policy and regulations.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis.
• Pull hoses, shovel and frequently walk, bend, squat, stoop, twist to provide labor duties at the location and customer job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Available to work overtime to meet customer objectives.

Position Overview

Our Blast Crews perform a wide variety of tasks at our location and customer sites in support of our blasting services. The tasks are performed outside in all weather conditions and include regularly moving items or objects weighing 50+ pounds, using shovels, pulling hoses, laying out products and carrying a wide variety of materials and tools.
