Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Sanborn, NY is seeking a Transportation & Shipping Coordinator to support the North America Distribution Center's outbound shipments. You will coordinate pickups, prepare bills of lading, and liaise with carriers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

You will work with the warehouse and customer care teams to resolve issues, provide quotes and tracking, and back up other transportation roles as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Background in Shipping & Transportation preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center preferred.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems is helpful.
• Experience coordinating, scheduling, data entry & tracking.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Job description

The Transportation & Shipping Coordinator supports the transportation and shipping operations of the North America Distribution Center by partnering closely with warehouse personnel to ensure the timely and efficient coordination of daily outbound shipments. This role serves as the primary point of contact for carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners, building and maintaining strong working relationships to support reliable delivery performance and exceptional customer service. The Transportation & Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipments, resolving transportation-related issues, and helping ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule. This position reports directly to the Transportation Team Lead and plays a key role in supporting the overall logistics and distribution strategy of the North America Distribution Center.

You will:

• Contact freight forwarders to arrange pick-ups.

To succeed, you will need

Salary Range: $49,000.00 - $55,000.00

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
