Job summary

CONSOL Energy is seeking a Surface Surveyor/Technician at Black Thunder Mine in Wright, WY. You will oversee and perform surface surveying as part of the surveying team, ensuring maps and profiles are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities include preparing reports using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, maintaining AutoCAD and I-Site files, and collaborating with engineers to design mine projections while adhering to safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in surveying; qualified experience may substitute.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and I-Site Studio software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient with setup and operation of survey level equipment.
• Proficient with setup and operation of Trimble GPS and I-Site survey equipment.
• Solid knowledge of surveying fundamentals, calculations, and note taking techniques.
