Job description

We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!

About the role

Grüns is growing fast, and the ops org needs someone who can bring order to that growth. As BizOps Manager, you'll be the analytical and strategic backbone for our ops team, standing up the frameworks, systems, and rigor to make Grüns Operations Best-in-Class. This is a role for someone who's already proven they can own a problem end to end in a startup environment, and who's ready to do it with more scope and less oversight. You’ll report directly to our VP of BizOps and work as a peer to our existing BizOps team.

This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a biannual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.

In this role, you will:
  • Build and refine supply chain models to improve reliability of COGS and capacity forecasts.
  • Take full ownership of S&OP and variance analyses, ensuring forecasts and planning are optimized.
  • Lead preparation for monthly business reviews and OKR meetings, aligning stakeholders and leadership on operational strategy and performance.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute cross-functional initiatives that improve key Ops metrics (e.g., gross margin, inventory efficiency).
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards that give real-time visibility into daily, weekly, and monthly performance trends.
  • Provide supply chain assumptions into the financial model, partnering closely with Finance to ensure integrated planning.
  • Translate complex analysis into concise, compelling presentations for executives and cross-functional partners.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • BS/MS Degree in a quantitative or computational field
  • 5-7+ years experience in data analytics in corporate, consulting, or investment banking
  • Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences - concise, solutions-oriented, and able to influence partners through clear, data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • High proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Expertise with SQL, with R and/or Python knowledge preferred
  • Exceptional thought partnership skills, able to own direct relationships with stakeholders and build credibility through clarity and judgment
  • Strong statistical skills and intuition for solving problems in both consumer-facing and internal product areas
  • Experience with Cloud Computing (Google Cloud) platforms preferred
Approach to the role:
  • You don't wait to be handed a problem — you go find it, frame it, and bring back a recommendation
  • You move between deep analytical work and senior stakeholder conversations without missing a beat.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and resource-light environments — "we don't have a process for that yet" sounds like opportunity, not friction
  • You hold yourself to a high standard of intellectual honesty — you'd rather deliver an uncomfortable truth than a comfortable slide
  • You move fast without cutting corners on rigor, and you understand that speed and quality aren't opposites
  • You're energized by working on a product you believe in and a team that holds itself to a high bar
Compensation & Benefits:

At Grüns, we’re committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $140,000-$160,000 plus bonus depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.

A bit about us...

At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.

Like you, we were disappointed. There’s an infinite number of “nutrition” companies, all focused on what’s best for them — not what’s best for you. Hundreds of products to sell you on, low-quality ingredients, and small nutrient doses. We’ve seen it all.

So we decided it was time to fix it. No more choking on and popping pills like a pharmacy. No more clean-up and disgust from gross powders. And no more cobbling together handfuls to dozens of supplements. Grüns is comprehensive nutrition, made convenient and delicious.

What we care about...

Be the Best: We hold ourselves, our teams, and our partners to an incredibly high standard - and we raise the bar constantly. "We've never done this before" isn't an excuse here. It's an invitation.

Own It: We act like our name is on the door. That means taking complete ownership of outcomes, collaborating deeply, working through roadblocks - not around them - and never waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Great owners are great partners.

Drive Impact, Urgently: We measure impact, not effort. We work smart and hard, move fast, and use every tool at our disposal - including AI - to focus our energy where it matters most.

Compensation & Perks:

For every role, we aim to have highly competitive compensation and opportunity for impact and career growth.

Everyone at Grüns works hard, but we believe in wellness and balance too. We have super strong benefits coverage -- for you and your family, generous PTO, free Grüns, and a few more perks centered around health and well-being that we can't wait to tell you about!
