Job summary

Ilocatum in Carroll, IA is seeking a Senior Site Operations Lead to own and operate a Bitcoin mining facility. You will lead a team of site technicians, keep the ASIC fleet at peak hash rate, and direct troubleshooting of PSUs, hash boards, control boards, and fans.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years in technical operations, 1–2 years in leadership, and experience with data center or mining environments. OSHA and electrical safety are essential, with optional electrician license or immersion

• Electrical experience or certification, including electrical, networking and cooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of site technicians.

• Direct troubleshooting and repair on PSUs, hash boards, control boards and fans.
• Run preventive maintenance and environmental monitoring.
• Manage miner configs and firmware across the fleet.
• Enforce OSHA and electrical safety and own compliance and audits.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years in technical operations, including 1 to 2 years leading a team
• High-uptime experience: data center, bitcoin mining, industrial or similar
• ASIC miners and Foreman, LuxOS or equivalent
• Electrical, networking and cooling knowledge (air, liquid or immersion)
• Electrical experience or certification
• Comfortable with hands‑on, physical work
