Qualifications

• Ability to provide service in an accurate and timely manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to interact with residents, families, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently serve food and beverages to tables for restaurant style service.
• Provide information about the meal presented and offer suggestions upon request.
• Observe diners to fulfill additional requests and monitor when meals are completed.
• Remove dishes during and after meals maintaining sanitation standards.
• Wash and set up tables with clean linen, silverware and glassware; ensure chair and condiment cleanliness.
• Restock supplies as needed prior to next meal service.
• Cross-train in hosting and serving to grow skills and become a well-rounded employee.
• Complete all side work before, during and after meal service.
• Clean and sanitize department storage, equipment, and waste containers as assigned.
