Job summary

Aperture Hotels is seeking a friendly Bistro Server in Midland, AR to provide exceptional food and beverage service to hotel guests. You will take orders, assist in food and drink preparation, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining area during shifts that typically run from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work without supervision, and comfortable multitasking as a cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment, multitask, and maintain cleanliness.
• Weekend availability and flexibility for shifts from late afternoon to evening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitized prep area.
• Work multiple roles within a shift (cook, server, bartender, barista, banquet server).
• Follow food safety and handling standards and use chemicals/equipment as directed.
• Set up and maintain food and beverage items for service, events, and meetings.
• Adhere to policies for serving alcoholic beverages and assist with post-service cleanup.
• Complete special requests from Management as needed.

Bistro Server

The Bistro Server plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage service, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.

Shifts usually start at 4:30 pm until 10:30pm, or until closing clean up is completed. Serving hotel guests at the Bistro by making food and drinks. This includes all aspects of food preparation, service and cleanup, stocking, taking orders, wiping down tables, engaging in a meaningful way with hotel guests, cleanup and preparation for the next day. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitized prep cooler
• Work multiple roles all in one shift as a cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server
• Practice standards of cleanliness and food handling
• properly use all chemicals and equipment per manufacturer's guidelines
• Set up and maintain all food and beverage items during any hours of food service, meeting room, and/or special guest functions ensuring proper amounts and temperature
• Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures with regard to serving alcoholic beverages, wine and beer
• Upon completion of food service, clean up the area in accordance with standards and procedures
• Carry out any reasonable request by Management

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Weekend availability

Preferred:

• Food and Beverage experience
• Work experience in Customer Service in the Hospitality Field
• Experience with hotel operation systems
