Gannon University is seeking a student worker in the Biomedical Engineering Department in Erie, PA. The position offers up to 20 hours per week to assist with research and lab activities, under supervision.
It is based on the Erie campus with a focus on supporting project work and learning objectives. Preferred candidates are engineering students with coursework in chemistry/biology, programming, and simulation tools.

Provide research and lab support in the Biomedical Engineering Department. The position is capped at 20 hours per week. The days and times required will vary based on project responsibilities and needs.
The position requires students majoring in engineering, preferably juniors or seniors. Candidates must have basic knowledge of programming, simulation tools, and 3D printing techniques.
Electrical, biomedical, and mechanical engineering students. Candidates must have completed introductory chemistry and biology courses and laboratories, as well as GU safety training. Basic knowledge of programming and 3D printing is required. Familiarity with ANSYS or other simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB ) is an asset.
This position requires minimal physical demands, but applicants should be able to safely lift 50 pounds and sit and/or stand for extended periods.
