Job summary

NORY, Inc. in New York City seeks energetic Birthday Party Teachers to turn birthdays into memorable STEM adventures for kids. You’ll lead engaging activities, manage materials, and ensure safety during 1–3 hour sessions in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

No prior STEM experience is required; training is provided. A love for children, storytelling, and punctuality help you shine. Pay is $50/hour with prorated sessions and potential for other camps.

Details:

• Hours: Varies based on the type of opportunity but typically between 1-3 hours per week or as needed.
• Compensation: $50/hour which covers:
  • Preparation: Arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early for material setup.
  • Lesson plan review, occasional training, and post-event clean-up.
• Adjustments: Payments are prorated based on the event duration; for instance, a 45-minute session is adjusted accordingly.
• Materials Handling: Unless specified otherwise, you're responsible for collecting and returning materials to NORY HQ in Midtown Manhattan.
• Location: Manhattan & Brooklyn
