Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Staff RN for the Birth Center in Spokane, WA. This full-time 0.9 FTE night shift role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team and supports professional development.

The position requires WA RN licensure (MLS acceptable), BLS, and relevant certifications; BSN preferred, with 1 year of acute care experience preferred. Benefits include tuition assistance and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS endorsement
• BSN preferred
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds
