Qualified Staffing is hiring for our local school system in Marietta, GA to assist in the custodial department. The role offers a weekday schedule from 10:30am to 7pm with a pay rate of $15 per hour. This position focuses on maintaining cleanliness across classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, and fingerprint background checks are required at the applicant's expense.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing designated areas such as classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including playgrounds and parking lots.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down for schools events or activities as requested.
• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Must be flexible with job duties and schedule.
