Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. seeks an Engineer to support process optimization, troubleshooting, and design across operations, pilot plants, and capital projects.

Under general supervision, you will apply basic engineering principles to system modifications and analyze results. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of experience; biotechnology process exposure, chromatography and UFDF knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2 years of Engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in biotechnology processes, purification operations desired.
• Knowledge of chromatography and UFDF techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Under general supervision will evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments with clear objectives and limited variable investigation.
• Initiate and complete routine technical tasks.
• Audit operational performance and contribute to regulatory compliance for equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, project management and validation activities.
