Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a patent agent with strong life sciences background to prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications in Miami, FL. The role supports strategic client guidance across the product lifecycle and portfolio management while collaborating with USPTO and foreign associates.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of biotech patenting experience, a Ph.D. in biological sciences (preferred), and USPTO registration. Permanent work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of life sciences patenting experience.
• Experience in preparing and prosecuting applications for biologics or large-molecule tech.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications in life sciences.
• Advise clients on patent issues across the product lifecycle and portfolio strategy.
• Collaborate with clients, USPTO, and foreign associates on prosecution matters.
• Support a collaborative environment focused on client service and growth.
