Metropolitan Community College in Omaha is seeking a Science Lab Coordinator to support biotechnology instruction and biomanufacturing-style operations. This role maintains lab equipment, prepares reagents and media, ensures GLP/GMP compliance, and assists faculty and students in executing laboratory activities.

The position also procures lab materials, manages inventory, schedules labs, and provides training on lab operations and safety.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology or related field.
• At least two years of related biotechnology/educational/training experience.
• Ability to travel between campuses.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of lab safety and regulatory practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Biotech lab preparation and setup.
• Manage laboratory inventory, equipment, and records.
• Oversee maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with scheduling labs.
• Procure lab materials and track expenditures.
• Provide lab training and support to faculty and students.
