Job summary

Vanguard-IP seeks a biotech-focused patent attorney or agent with strong analytical and written communication skills to join our US office. The candidate should have advanced degrees in biological sciences, experience prosecuting biologics patents, and a proven ability to conduct FTO and due diligence.

Registration to practice before the USPTO and admission to at least one State bar are required. Prior law firm experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Biotech patent experience required.
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in biological sciences.
• Experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications for biologics or large-molecule tech.
• Experience conducting freedom-to-operate, IP due diligence, infringement, validity analyses.
