Job summary

Legend Biotech seeks an Intern for FFBA Analytical Development in Somerset, NJ. You will help develop flow cytometry-based methods to assess cellular metabolism in engineered cell products and support data analysis under mentorship from senior scientists.

Responsibilities include optimizing staining panels, drafting procedures, and documenting results in ELN and LIMS. Open to undergraduates or master's students with relevant backgrounds and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and scientific curiosity are essential.
• Effective communication and writing skills are required.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is valued.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists to identify pain points in the electronic sample ascension process.
• Develop and draft procedures to streamline and organize sample data and test reporting.
• Observe and assist with routine testing of non-critical samples.
• Perform routine laboratory activities, like equipment calibration, cleaning, and general laboratory upkeep.
• Assist in the creation of accurate Electronic Laboratory Notebook entries and LIMS sample templates.
• This is a closely mentored role, with planning and execution decisions made in collaboration with senior scientists.
