Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join the College Station facility. You will perform maintenance and support for clean utility and biotech processing equipment within a cGMP environment, under supervision.

Emphasis on SOPs, quality standards and working with OEM reps to minimize downtime. The role requires basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to learn quickly with minimal supervision after training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years maintenance experience, preferably in bio-pharma.
• Associate or technical degree with 1 year maintenance experience in bio-pharma.
• Bachelor's degree with relevant maintenance experience in bio-pharma.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and operational support for clean utility equipment and biotech processing equipment.
• Support plant utility equipment and HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and waste systems.
• Maintain facilities, buildings, and grounds; assist with critical environment controls in GMP areas.
• Troubleshoot temperature controlled process equipment (bioreactors, centrifuges, autoclaves).
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and FDA/cGMP guidelines; perform routine work orders with minimal supervision.
• Maintain training compliance and pursue ongoing improvement; assist technicians and OEM contractors as needed.
