Canaccord Genuity's Biotechnology/Biopharmaceutical team in New York seeks an Equity Research Associate to support the biotech/biopharma coverage universe, working closely with a senior analyst. You will build and maintain financial models, author research notes, write initiation reports, and help manage meetings and events with investors and regulators.

This role requires 2+ years in equity research or related healthcare experience, strong modeling skills, and excellent written and verbal

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience supporting equity research or related healthcare corporate experience.
• Strong background with financial modeling and analysis.
• MBA/CFA preferred but not required.
• High degree of industry knowledge/experience preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Fully support the senior biotech/biopharma analyst, working closely with the analysts on a day-to-day basis.
• Build and maintain all financial models.
• Author research notes based on primary research, company, and investor input.
• Write initiation reports for new coverage.
• Maintain active lists and coordinate upcoming medical meetings, catalysts, and investor/regulatory events.
