Job summary

Genezen, located in Lexington, MA, seeks an Automation Engineering Manager to lead the automation engineering team and drive program enhancements for manufacturing and utility systems. You will manage onboarding of new equipment, coordinate with internal customers and external service providers, and set team goals.

You will oversee CFR 21 Part 11 controls, ensure data integrity, and provide budget estimates for automation projects while mentoring staff and coordinating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA, commissioning, validation and process automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure operability of process and building control systems.
• Oversee installation, integration and upgrades with proper documentation.
• Administer CFR 21 Part 11 controls; ensure data integrity and audit trails.
• Provide budgetary and scheduling estimates for automation projects.
• Lead and mentor automation staff; set expectations and goals.
• Support deviations, investigations and resolution of automation issues.
• Develop test scripts and automation procedures as needed.
• Represent the department in client and cross-functional meetings.
• Conduct performance reviews of direct reports in alignment with corporate goals.
